My approach to editing starts in pre-production. I focus on building a narrative, making cinematography choices, shaping sound design, and establishing an overall sense of direction. I like to edit both visually and narratively, structuring the story to introduce information at just the right moments, generate intrigue, and keep the viewer fully engaged.
